You may now pay Online for a single annual Launch Permit, Boat Launch and Parking Violations, Application fees for Architectural Review Board, Design Review Board, Tree Removal and Land Disturbance, Zoning Appeals Board, and Zoning Permits. There is a small fee that will be added to each transaction.

Credit Card Services for the Town are provided by SC.Gov, a third party, working under contract administered by the South Carolina State Budget Control Board, Division of State Information Technology (DSIT). Services purchased through SC.Gov will include a small access fee. The Town of McClellanville does not receive any fees related to the use of credit/debit cards. The funds are retained by SC.Gov, the state's official web portal, and used to develop, maintain, enhance and expand the service offerings of the state's portal. We continue to accept cash and checks.
Boat Landing Application
Form to request an annual permit to launch a boat, kayak or canoe at the Robert Ashley Boat Landing in McClellanville
Annual Permits(January thru December)
You may pay for a single vehicle permit with a credit/debit card. If you wish to order multiple permits you must appear in person with proof that all vehicles are registered to the same address..
If you pay with a check or money order you must print an application form click on Boat Landing Application above for the form, complete the form, and mail them with a stamped, self addressed envelope to the Town. The mailing address is on the form.

Short Term Permits(daily and Weekly)
You may purchase a daily or weekly launch pass online, place it on your dash, and use our rampYou may buy a daily or weekly pass in person at the Citgo station or "Boats 'n Hoogies" sandwich shop. You cannot buy a daily or weekly pass by mail.
Boat Launch and Parking Violations
If you have received a Citation for a parking or launching without a permit, you may pay online. Please follow this link .
Zoning Permit Application
What Is a Zoning Permit? A zoning permit is a document signed by the Zoning Administrator or her delegated agent that authorizes the following:
- The commencement of the use of a land or building, and/or
- The erection, construction, reconstruction, restoration, alteration, conversion, or installation of a structure or building and/or
- The issuance of a McClellanville Business License, and/or
- The issuance of a McClellanville Certificate of Appropriateness from the Architectural or Design Review Boards.
The zoning permit acknowledges that such use, structure, or building complies with the provisions of the Zoning and Land Development Ordinance of the Town of McClellanville.
When Do I Need a Zoning Permit?
A zoning permit is needed prior to any construction, reconstruction, grading, alteration, demolition, or change in the use of or occupancy of any land, building, or other structure, including temporary uses. Approval of a zoninq permit is a prerequisite to the issuance of a buildinq permit.

McClellanville Business License Application
Use the McClellanville Business License Form to apply for an annual McClellanville Business License. Applicant must appear in person to apply. The form may be completed in advance.
A Home Occupation form is included with the application. Complete this form only if your business will be located in your home.
If you wish to renew an existing McClellanville Business License you may do so on the Charleston County Web Site by following this link Renew Business License
Non resident contractors, who do not have an annual McClellanville Business License use the McClellanville Business License Application for Non Resident Contractors. Print the form. Calculate the cost of the job, rounding that cost up to an even thousand dollars. If this is your first job(license) for a calendar year the fee is $28 for the first $2000, plus $1.20 for each additional thousand. Make your check is payable to Charleston County. You can then bring the form and payment to Town Hall in McClellanville, or take or mail it the Charleston County address on the form. If this is not your first job(license) for the year the fee is $1.20 for each thousand dollars. Architectural Review Board Application
Design Review Board Application
Use the ARB Form to request Board approval for demolition of any existing structure; alteration to an existing structures; new construction; erection, alteration, reconstruction, or demolition of any sign or fence in the Historic or Marine Commercial Districts. Use the DRB form for new development or alteration or demolition of any property (including signs, fences, landscaping, buffering, and structures); Landscaping by Town or other public owned properties or facilities plans by the Town or other public agencies. Pursuant to Section 12.4 of the McClellanville Zoning and Land Development Ordinance.

Tree Removal and Land Disturbance Application
Form to request zoning permission to remove trees and land disturbance pursuant to Section 6.5 of the McClellanville Zoning and Land Development Ordinance.

McClellanville Building Permit Application
As of September 15, 2014, Charleston County assumed Building Plan reviews and Inspection Services for the Town of McClellanville. On-line services are available using The Citizen Access Portal (CAP) permit.charlestoncounty.org where you can:
- renew a Business License
- renew a Contractor License
- apply for permits
- order inspections
- get inspection results
- get a plan review status.
Zoning Permits are still processed by the Town and should be completed and approved before requesting any building permit from Charleston County. Approval of a zoninq permit is a prerequisite to the issuance of a buildinq permit.
Board of Zoning Appeals Application
Form to appeal an error in an ordinance, or a requirement which would cause an unnecessary hardship, pursuant to Section 12.3 of the McClellanville Zoning and Land Development Ordinance.

Memorial Tree Program
The Town of McClellanville's Memorial Tree Program provides an opportunity to honor a loved one or friend. For a contribution of one hundred dollars an eight to ten foot tall tree will be planted in the Village and maintained until established. Complete the form and bring or mail it to Town Hall with your check.
